Converting Strings to Lowercase with JavaScript

JavaScript toLowerCase() method to converts a string to lowercase. This method method does not change the original string and returns the converted string. As far as the browser support is concerned this method is fully supported by almost every browser.

JavaScript’s toLowerCase() example.

let movie = 'AVENGER ENDGAME';

movie.toLocaleLowerCase();
// output: "avenger endgame"

JavaScript toUpperCase() Syntax

str.toLocaleLowerCase()

str: This string needs to be attached with the toLowerCase() method.

let movie = "THE HELL BOY";
let result = movie.toLowerCase();
// output: "the hell boy"
